The Federal Employment Agency has officially confirmed that in the first half of 2015, 78% of all temporary workers were in full-time employment (more than 35 hours a week). On the overall labor market, however, the figure is only 63%. The number of mini-jobs in temporary employment is also very low; in Germany, just one in 13 temporary workers is a mini-jobber.
Did you know that personnel service providers do not displace permanent staff?
Independent studies by the Hans Böckler Foundation, the Institute for Employment Research and the Rhenish-Westphalian Institute for Economic Research have shown that, contrary to the prevailing opinion, temporary work actually strengthens permanent staff. Only 2.0 percent of all companies are reducing their existing staff in exchange for temporary workers. The majority use the advantages of professional temporary work to protect the security of their own company and therefore also their own staff.

Temporary work as an economic factor
Temporary workers make up just 2.0 of the total workforce in Germany, but have generated 15% of economic growth. The flexible use of personnel services gives companies the opportunity to build up personnel depending on the economic situation without affecting the permanent staff.
